Only two months after being hired, I was entrusted to lead the entire ISO 27001 certification process — my first time ever managing an external audit. I designed and coordinated every stage, from documentation restructuring to risk analysis and internal audits. The company passed the external audit with zero nonconformities, exceeding all expectations and positioning us for NIS2 compliance.
Recently, a close family member was the target of a digital scam attempt in which criminals tried to steal €4,000 by impersonating me on WhatsApp. I was able to gather evidence of how they operate and hand everything over to the authorities. I want to share the experience and the technical analysis to raise awareness and demonstrate how these groups work.
Network creation and configuration with 2 livebox routers, a TP-Link router and a switch, as well as end devices and IoT devices. Once the main router connected to an ONT device with a speed of 1Gbps provided by the ISP is configured, it's connected to the gigabit switch, to which I directly connected a desktop computer and the 2 remaining routers, providing them static IP's and disabling DCHP.
Wireless network attack using Linux virtualization and running Fern Cracker through a previously configured proxychain. A successful dictionary attack is performed. Through an nmap port scan you directly access a variety of IoT devices, gaining complete control. A DoS attack was carried out within the network itself to a connected mobile device, which was disconnected from the network in seconds.
Creation through Pine Script of an RSI (Relative Strength Index) tool on a dynamic chart, using the tool directly in this chart for better and easier analysis. Different RSI levels were added, each with its own color. The tool is easily modifiable by the user through a GUI, being able to modify the RSI time, the colors of the levels and the levels that appear on the chart, among other things.
